It’s a real privilege to be a part of this SG project. Initially I felt scared about the responsibility but as we’ve learned more by listening to Sylvia and her family and by working together, I really feel my perspective has broadened and that I’ve learned so much from this experience.

Our Designers Brief
The Stolen Generation project has taught me a lot about the struggles of the First Nation and its effects over the future generations. It made me understand the perspective of their experiences and their struggles from these past effects and it helped me explore their eyes of the situation that they are in.

Our Designers Brief
I am glad that I have the opportunity to join this project. I am listening to the stories from the First Nations, receiving help and support and viewing the process and outcomes of so many fantastic design projects. Indeed, the sorrow of the Stolen Generations is unforgettable. Sylvia and her families are so optimistic and confident. I can feel their passion for love and family, and I hope our project can pass their positive attitudes to more First Nations in Australia.
